After seeing the recent photos, the place looks even better, I'm shocked. (I mean all I've seen before was a view from a cat's butt near a window so this is eye opening) I notice the Japanese motif running through the place too. I'm a sucker for foriegn stuff.

What's in the lighted display case? Wife's collection?

That looks really nice. My wife sponge painted a lot of our house. Damn HGTV.

The lighted curio in the living room has Chinese stuff in it... cuz it's the Chinese room [img]wink.gif[/img]

It kinda spilled over into the foyer a bit though with the shadowbox and the rock gargen fountain there... I like to think of this place as Epcot-House [img]wink.gif[/img]

sponge painting can look really nice if done right and in colors that go well together. my sister and I sponge painted two rooms of the house she used to live in, and it looked really good. she ended up having to move out two months after we did it though, which really friggin sucked cause of all the effort that went into painting those rooms.

Oops, my mistake- I saw the print-like image in the living room and associated it w/ Japan. (Obviously my Asian culture is limited!)

Now we just have to see the bathroom(s) sometime!
